Summer Flight

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine gave me a gift certificate for a little flight for my birthday, and this summer I cashed in. On August 9th, 2003, my friend and I joined pilot Espen Carcary on a flight from Rakkestad (Østfold) over Moss to a small tour over Kongsberg, and a landing in Notodden. After a little break in Notodden, talking to some glider pilots and looking at the gliders being pulled into the air, and landing, we once again lifted off, this time headed for a tour over Moss. We circled the area a couple of times and headed back for a landing in Rakkestad. On the flight we saw other planes in the air, saw some paragliders, listened to the radio traffic and really enjoyed ourselves in the great flying weather. I saw both my home in Kongsberg and Moss, and got a nice shot of my Kongsberg home (the red house, #13) and a good shot of the area I live in Moss.
