Hoover Dam

While staying in Las Vegas I took the short drive down to the Hoover Dam, and it was huge. Much bigger than it seems to be on TV and in movies. I actually got to go on a brand new tour of the facilities and got to go inside the dam itself. To distinguish the group who took the extended dam tour from the regular tours we were handed out yellow hardhats. Hardhats that couldn't protect us from anything, so we got to keep them as souvernies.
