Tenerife Forest Fires

On Sunday July 15th, forest fires started raging through the forests above Playa de las Americas. They didn't get the fires under control for several days, and some towns had to be evacuated. A few thousand hectares of forest was on fire. There was never any danger for me or the other people not close to the forests, but it was still quite an experience.
